Maersk has announced the omission of Sydney from the Olga Maersk’s port calls on Voyages 618S (southbound) and 623N (northbound) under the OC1 service. This adjustment is necessitated by an operational delay en route to Oceania ports and forms part of Maersk’s schedule recovery measures.
Import cargo arrangements:
• Sydney-bound import cargo carried on the Olga Maersk Voyage 618S will be discharged at Tauranga. It will then be transferred to the Olivia Maersk Voyage 619S for onward delivery to Sydney.
• Import cargo originally scheduled for loading in Tauranga onto the Olga Maersk Voyage 618S for discharge in Sydney will instead be loaded directly onto the Olivia Maersk Voyage 619S.
Export cargo arrangements:
• Export cargo from Sydney scheduled for loading on the Olga Maersk Voyage 623N will be reallocated to the Maersk Rio Blanco Voyage 624N. This cargo will subsequently transship onto the Olga Maersk Voyage 623N at Tauranga to continue its northbound journey.
At present, Maersk has confirmed that no further disruptions to the OC1 service are anticipated.
