
This signifies the company’s inaugural direct route from Northwestern Europe to Angola, Congo, and the Democratic Republic of Congo, providing logistics solutions for dry, refrigerated, and project cargo.
The main enhancements to the service are as follows:
A direct stop at Pointe Noire, with transit durations of 23 days from Rotterdam, 21 days from Antwerp, and 19 days from Le Havre.
A direct call to Luanda, with transit times of 25 days from Rotterdam, 23 days from Antwerp, and 21 days from Le Havre.
Enhanced connectivity to Matadi in the Democratic Republic of Congo through a feeder service from Pointe Noire.
The MSC service will be further bolstered with intermodal connections linking Pointe Noire to Kinshasa and Brazzaville, as well as from Luanda to pivotal inland locations in Angola.
The revised rotation schedule will commence in the 48th week of the year, kicking off on November 25th with the vessel MSC Suez:
Netherlands (Rotterdam) – Belgium (Antwerp) – France (Le Havre) – Morocco (Casablanca) – Spain (Las Palmas, Canary Islands) – Senegal (Dakar) – Guinea (Conakry) – Togo (Lomé) – Republic of Congo (Pointe Noire) – Angola (Luanda)
“This service remains complementary to our other NWC to WAF service, enabling us to keep enhancing our presence and connectivity into the region,” said MSC in an announcement.
